What Makes Us Different?
Tailored to Your Needs
Other companies may offer lower costs for group sessions, however these are not tailored to the specific needs of the client. For example, a client who has a fear of public speaking will need a drastically different training program compared to an extroverted client with a rapid rate of speech and reduced intelligibility. Research has shown that individualized training sessions are the most effective means of service delivery.
Certified Speech Language Pathologists
Other companies have trainers that have a wide variety of backgrounds, level of education, and experience. Our company is composed only of certified Speech Language Pathologists who have a minimum education level of a Master’s degree, and have passed an intensive training course to become a Rupp-certified accent modification trainer. Speech Language Pathologists are uniquely positioned to do this because we have a great knowledge of speech sound production, we know how to train someone for more effective articulatory precision, we are experienced in individualized training, and we have advanced knowledge of voice and resonance.
Level of Detail
Other companies tailor their services solely to managers and executives. Our company addresses the communication inefficiencies that take place on a day to day basis for employees at all levels within the company.
Time Spent Together
Other companies may offer shorter time frames for services, however based on our backgrounds as Speech Language Pathologists, we know that it takes a significant amount of time for an individual to successfully generalize communication skills learned in our sessions to their daily lives. We are not interested in making isolated progress within structured in-session activities. Our goal is for the client to be able to successfully transfer those skills to their functional lives. In order to do this, a longer time frame is required, allowing us to space out sessions to ~1x per week, and ensure that sufficient home practice is conducted between sessions.
